Reuben Hot Dog
Delicious Reuben sandwich toppings also make a tasty hot dog topper.
Makes 8 servings
2 cups prepared sauerkraut 1 cup grated Swiss cheese
1 cup Thousand Island dressing 1 to 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
8 hot dogs 8 hot dog buns
In a saucepan, heat sauerkraut. Keep warm while preparing hot dogs. Preheat grill to 375 degrees. Brush grates with vegetable oil. When hot, place hot dogs on grill; cook 7 to 8 minutes, turning occasionally, until heated through. Place on a clean platter. Place buns on grill, cut side down, to lightly toast. Place cheese on top of cut bun. Top with hot dog, sauerkraut and dressing.
