Police vs. the trolley

Milwaukee’s mayor got his $100 million, two-mile trolley pushed through, and now there is not enough money to police our crime-ridden streets. There also are cuts threatened to fire and other departments. There is not enough money left for those, but the trolley moves forward.

When our mayor, and other officials who pushed the trolley through cry foul on crime and emergency services, the rest of us Milwaukee taxpayers will once again suffer the consequences of terrible decision-making by a small group of individuals who live in their own glass bubbles.
