ManpowerGroup Inc. recruits a PepsiCo Inc. executive to oversee its North American operations.
ManpowerGroup Inc. on Thursday announced that it recruited a PepsiCo Inc. executive to oversee the entire North American operations of the Milwaukee-based staffing and recruitment company.
Becky Frankiewicz joins ManpowerGroup from one of the largest of PepsiCo’s many subsidiaries, Quaker Foods North America, where she oversaw all functions, from sales to manufacturing. She joins Manpower effective July 6. Within the North America business unit, Frankiewicz will oversee all of ManpowerGroup’s operations in North America: its temporary and staffing services, its Experis professional and engineering recruitment service, and its Right Management replacement division.
Prior to her success leading Quaker Foods North America, Frankiewicz held senior roles in strategic consulting with Deloitte and Andersen Consulting after having started her career at Procter and Gamble.
“Becky has an impressive track record in innovation, transformation and delivering strategic, sustainable growth,” said Darryl Green, chief operating officer at ManpowerGroup.
Frankiewicz also has been named by Fast Company as one of the most creative people in the industry, anticipating and adapting to fast changing consumer demands.
The new job is deemed important at Manpower, even though North America is not its biggest market. Manpower’s largest single national market is France, where it gleans 25% of its revenue, compared with the United States with 15%. A full 85% of Manpower’s revenue is from outside the U.S.
But the president of Manpower’s North American division is an important position, as Chief Executive Officer Jonas Priesing held that title before his 2014 elevation to the top spot.
