PREP FOOTBALL GAMES

-

Games at 7 p.m. unless noted THURSDAY Franklin (5-0, 3-0 Southeast) at Kenosha Bradford (3-2, 1-2): Once off to a fast start, Bradford has lost two of its last three games and needs to score an upset or else be in must-win situations the rest of the season to automatically qualify for the playoffs. FRIDAY Oconomowoc (1-4, 1-3 Classic 8) at Arrowhead (3-2, 2-2): This matchup has lost some of its luster, but it will still be the first time Oconomowoc coach Greg Malling faces the school he led to two state championships. Kettle Moraine (3-2, 3-2 Classic 8) vs. Catholic Memorial (4-1, 3-1) at Carroll University: Kettle Moraine is coming off a big victory over Muskego. In the Classic 8, however, another challenge is just a week away. Back-to-back big wins would be a huge statement for the Lasers. Lake Country Lutheran (5-0, 2-0 Midwest Classic) at University School (3-1, 2-0): In order to gain control of the conference, University School will have to reverse a long history of struggle against Lutheran. The Wildcats have lost to Lutheran in each of the past six seasons. West Bend East (2-3, 2-3 North Shore) at Whitefish Bay (5-0, 5-0): Bay tries to avoid a hangover following its victory over Homestead last week. East, meanwhile, is hungry for a victory. The Suns have lost three straight games, though two were competitive affairs. Oak Creek (3-2, 2-1 Southeast) at Kenosha Indian Trail (3-2, 3-0): It’s exam week for both teams. Can Oak Creek bounce back from a tough loss? Will Indian Trail be up to the challenge after putting together a fast start against the bottom half of the league.

?? ?? Quarterback Max Herro will try to lead Kettle Moraine to its second huge victory in as many weeks when the Lasers take on Catholic Memorial on Friday.
