Father, 39, killed bicycling with son
A 39-year-old father bicycling with his 15year-old son was killed in a hit-and-run crash late Friday in Caledonia.
Caledonia police said good Samaritans were performing CPR on the victim when first responders arrived at 9:47 p.m. in the 5400 block of state Highway 32. He was transported to a Racine hospital, where he died.
The man was riding his bicycle southbound while his son rode on the sidewalk alongside him when the man was struck.
Multiple pieces of the vehicle that fled were found at the scene. Police determined the striking vehicle was a silver Cadillac CTS, model years 2008 to 2014, and later took a Racine man into custody.

Man fatally shot during altercation
A 42-year-old man was fatally shot during a confrontation at about 11:25 p.m. Friday in the 3800 block of North 22nd Street, Milwaukee police said. The victim and suspect are acquaintances, and the suspect was arrested at the scene.
2 bodies pulled from Kinnickinnic River
Milwaukee Fire Department dive team members recovered two bodies from the Kinnickinnic River early Saturday, Milwaukee police said.
A witness said a 43year-old man jumped into the river in the 2600 block of South Chase Avenue after he and a woman argued. The woman jumped into the river shortly after him. Her age was not yet known, and police are continuing to investigate.
