76ers 97, PISTONS 86: Ben Simmons had a triple-double in his fourth NBA game, Joel Embiid scored 30 points and Philadelphia beat Detroit for its first win of the season. Simmons had 21 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, showing off the skill and versatility that made him the No. 1 pick in the 2016 draft before he missed all of last season with a foot injury.
HEAT 104, Hawks 93: Josh Richardson scored 21 points, Wayne Ellington made six 3-pointers in the second quarter and Miami wasted a 21-point lead before recovering to beat Atlanta. Ellington scored 20 points, and Goran Dragic finished with 19 for Miami.
BUCKS 103, Hornets 94: Giannis Antetokounmpo had 32 points and 14 rebounds, and Milwaukee scored the final nine points over Charlotte. Antetokounmpo was 13 for 21 from the field and 6 for 8 at the line. Antetokounmpo has scored at least 30 points in each of his first four games.
Grizzlies 98, ROCKETS 90: Marc Gasol scored 26 points to lead Memphis over Houston. Memphis has won its first three games for the first time since the 2014-15 season when the team won its opening six contests.
Warriors at MAVERICKS (late): Stephen Curry led Golden State with 37 points, and Kevin Durant added 29 and 13 rebounds in a 111-101 loss to Memphis on Saturday. Both were ejected with 43.6 seconds left after arguing with officials — Curry first after throwing his mouthpiece, and then Durant as he followed Curry’s argument.
Raptors at SPURS (late): LaMarcus Aldridge had 28 points and 10 rebounds as San Antonio beat Chicago 87-77 on Saturday in the Bulls’ home opener. Aldridge scored 12 points in a 22-13 run that gave San Antonio a 63-51 third-quarter lead.
Wizards at NUGGETS (late): Paul Millsap had 18 points and nine rebounds in his first home game with Denver, Gary Harris scored 17 and the Nuggets used a strong defensive effort to beat Sacramento 96-79 on Saturday.
Kings at SUNS (late): Phoenix played Friday at home and struggled to get into any offensive flow against the Los Angeles Clippers. Center Alex Len led Phoenix with 15 points in a 130-88 loss.
