St. Francis Wall of Fame: St. Francis will honor its first Wall of Fame class Dec. 15 during halftime of its varsity boys basketball game against Heritage Christian. The group is led by former boys basketball coach Harold “Butch”
McKeon, who coached the school to a state championship in 1976 and died shortly thereafter. The entire team will be inducted as well.
The selection committee focused its nominations on athletes from the 1960s, '70s and '80s, but in the future the group plans to select athletes from throughout the school’s history.
Here is the rest of the class: Art
Chevrier, a 1967 graduate who ran cross country and track, Gilbert Loferski

Caruso (1968, football, baseball and basketball); Randy Szukalski (1972, football, basketball and baseball), Russell Szukalski (1974, football, baseball, basketball, track), Mike "Legs" Laskowski (1976, cross country, basketball and track), Chuck Voltner (1977, wrestling, football, and a track state champion in the shot put and discus), Tom

Maske hired: New Berlin Eisenhower didn’t have to go far to find its new boys tennis coach. Nick Maske, who completed his second season as the boys volleyball coach at the school in this fall, will take over the boys tennis team this spring. He replaces Mike Jenders, who resigned after seven seasons of coaching Eisenhower boys and girls.
Maske spent the previous eight seasons as the boys tennis coach at Waukesha North. His team finished second in the Classic 8 last season.
Committed: Kenosha Bradford cross country standout Ansel Fellman has accepted an offer to be a preferred walkon at Wisconsin. The two-time Southeast Conference champion finished 18th at the Division 1 state meet Oct. 28.
Staying close to home: Kettle Moraine baseball coach Jim Wilkinson reports commitments for two of his senior players: pitcher/infielder Teig Chase will play at UW-Whitewater and outfielder Josh Kolb will play at Carroll University.
