Baileys Harbor: Natural Christmas. Celebrate Christmas and get a dose of nature at The Ridges Sanctuary from 3 to 6 p.m. Dec. 9. The nature center and Marshall Cabin will be decked out for the holiday, the boardwalk between the range lights will have luminaries and visitors can enjoy holiday crafts, live music, hot chocolate and marshmallows around a campfire. See ridgessanctuary.org. Baraboo: The Very Merry Holiday Fair. More than 60 craft and food vendors will have their wares for sale at this fair Dec. 8-9 at the Baraboo Arts Banquet and Convention Center. It's open noon to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free. See theverymerryholidayfair.com. Green Bay: Holiday Fest. The NEW Zoo will have games and activities for kids, horse-drawn wagon rides plus breakfast with Santa on Dec. 9. The zoo will also be decked out in Christmas decorations and lights. See newzoo.org. Greenbush: A Wade House Christmas.
Experience a 19th-century Christmas at the Wade House Dec. 9-10. The historic stagecoach hotel will have period crafts, stories, horse-drawn wagon rides, live music and gingerbread cookies. Admission is $12 for adults, $6 for kids (5-17), $10 for students and senior citizens (65+) and $33 for a family (to two adults and two or more dependent children). See wadehouse.org. Janesville: Ugly Sweater Fun Run, Walk & Roll. Don your ugliest Christmas sweater for this fun run on Dec. 9. Choose from 5K or 2-mile routes and enjoy hot chocolate and light snacks after. Registration is $25 for the 2-mile run and $30 for the 5K. See riverfrontinc.org. Rudolph: Country Christmas. The town that shares a name with the famous red-nosed reindeer celebrates Christmas Dec. 9 with craft vendors, children's games and entertainment, horse-drawn wagon rides, a chili cookoff, a parade and fireworks.
