Toast the city’s birthday with beer, of course
The City of Milwaukee celebrates its 172nd birthday with a kegger. OK, not exactly a kegger — the food is going to be better than any kegger you might remember — but a party with emphasis on beer.
“Toasting Tradition: A Celebration of Milwaukee’s Brewing Heritage” happens from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Jan. 25 at Bartolotta’s Grain Exchange, 225 E. Michigan St. Hosted by the Milwaukee Press Club, the event includes food stations, complimentary
beer, birthday cake and a gift for you to take home. Tickets are $35 and are available at milwaukeepressclub.org.
While you wait for the fun to begin, you can take the Toasting Tradition Trivia Contest at the Press Club’s website. You can do it. It’s about beer.
