PISTONS 104, Hawks 98: Ish Smith led the way for Detroit with 22 points and nine assists. Every Pistons starter reached double figures in scoring, and Blake Griffin flirted with a triple-double with 13 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists as Detroit beat the Hawks.

Hornets 104 MAGIC 102: Dwight Howard scored 22 points and pulled down 13 boards, Kemba Walker added 20 points and six assists and the Hornets narrowly survived a fourthquar­ter surge from the Magic.

76ERS 104, Heat 102: Ben Simmons notched a triple-double with 18 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists and four steals, Marco Belinelli scored 17 points off the bench and the Sixers used a late-game run to knock off the Heat.

Wizards 118, KNICKS 113: Bradley Beal exploded for 36 points with four three-pointers and seven assists, Otto Porter Jr. added 22 points of his own, and the Wizards held off Tim Hardaway Jr. (37 points) and the Knicks.

Pacers 108, NETS 103: Victor Oladipo had 25 points, Myles Turner had 11 points and 14 rebounds and the Pacers beat the Nets, who were led by DeMarre Carroll’s 21 points.

PELICANS 139, Lakers 117: Anthony Davis led a dominant performanc­e from the Pelicans with a 42-point, 15-rebound outing. Jrue Holiday dished 11 assists and New Orleans cruised to victory over the Lakers.

Raptors 122, BULLS 98: Kyle Lowry had 20 points and 10 assists as the Raptors went to the bench in a blowout win over the Bulls. Pascal Siakam led Toronto’s second unit with 17 points and six rebounds.

ROCKETS 100, Kings 91 : James Harden nearly notched a triple-double with 28 points, nine rebounds and nine assists, Chris Paul had 19 points and seven assists of his own and the Rockets survived a rocky second half to beat the Kings.

Thunder 121, GRIZZLIES 114: Russell Westbrook nabbed another triple-double with 23 points, 13 rebounds and 15 assists, Paul George made six three-pointers en route to 28 points and the Thunder beat the Grizzlies.

Clippers 129, CELTICS 119: Kyrie Irving scored 33 points for Boston, but it wasn’t enough to beat the Clippers. DeAndre Jordan dominated with 30 points, 13 rebounds and four steals as seven Clippers reached double figures in scoring.

Suns at JAZZ (late): Elfrid Payton scored 29 points in the Suns’ 46-point loss to the Warriors on Monday. Donovan Mitchell scored 25 points, including a go-ahead jumper with 39.2 seconds left, and Utah beat San Antonio on Monday night.

Warriors at TRAIL BLAZERS (late) : Stephen Curry scored 22 points for the Warriors in a blowout win over the Suns on Monday. Damian Lillard had 39 points for Portland in a loss to Utah on Sunday.
