- Chris Foran Milwaukee Journal Sentinel USA TODAY NETWORK – WISCONSIN

The Wisconsin State Fair added two more headliners to its 2018 lineup Thursday, bolstering the fair’s tradition of nostalgia and country flavors.

Country legend Reba McEntire will headline the fair’s Main Stage on Aug. 12, the final night of the fair, with a 6 p.m. show. In addition to piling up more awards-season hardware than you can count, McEntire has a double life as one of TV’s most reliably entertaining personalities, from her longrunning sitcom “Reba” to her current stint as Col. Sanders in KFC commercials.

Tickets for McEntire’s show, all reserved seating, are $49 and $59.

Also announced Thursday was the return of the Happy Together Tour, hitting the Main Stage at 7 p.m. Aug. 5. A State Fair mainstay, the tour of 1960s and ‘70s hit-makers this year includes the Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie, Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night, Gary Puckett & the Union Gap, The Association, Mark Lindsay of Paul Revere & the Raiders, and the Cowsills.

Reserved-seating tickets for Happy Together are $29 and $39.

Tickets for both shows go on sale at 9 a.m. March 2 at WiStateFair.com and the State Fair ticket office, 7722 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis. Main Stage tickets includ admission to the fair.

The 2018 Wisconsin State Fair runs Aug. 2-12 at Wisconsin State Fair Park. The other Main Stage acts announced for this year’s fare include Montgomery Gentry (Aug. 2) and Casting Crowns (Aug. 6).
