❚ The Riverwalk at Wells St. will be closed to pedestrians. The rest of the Riverwalk will be open.

❚ The Milwaukee River navigation channel will stay open.

The bridge’s structural, hydraulic and electrical components will be upgraded. Curbs, gutters and sidewalks will also be replaced as necessary. The vertical lift bridge was built in 1985.
