UWM women get bid to the WNIT

The UW-Milwaukee women’s basketball team received a bid to the WNIT on Monday night.

UWM (20-11) will play at Northern Iowa in a first round game Thursday night. The time of the game was not announced.

The WNIT bid comes in wake of UWM’s 62-58 loss to Youngstown State in the quarterfinals of the Horizon League Tournament.

Northern Iowa (19-13) took third in the Missouri Valley Conference.
