Local chefs add flavor to spring home, garden show

Home and garden shows are a good way to catch up on trends, get ideas for remodeling and decorating or improving your garden and landscapin­g. They’re also a good place to brush up on your cooking skills.

An impressive lineup of demonstrat­ions by local chefs is planned for the REALTORS Home & Garden Show presented by Unilock starting March 23 at the Wisconsin Exposition Center at State Fair Park, 8200 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis, and running through March 31.

Hours of the show are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday; 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. (Closed Monday and Tuesday.)

Regular admission is $8 for adults; free for military personnel (with valid military ID) and children 12 and under. Visit mkehgs.com or call (414) 778-4929 for more informatio­n.
