A site on Milwaukee’s east side has been sold to a firm that plans to eventually develop apartments or condominiums there.

Ogden Multifamily Partners LLC bought the 15,800-square-foot site, just southwest of the intersection of E. Brady and N. Jackson streets, for $525,000, according to state real estate records posted Friday.

That site consists of four parcels, at 1673-1685 N. Jackson St. and 1660, 1664 and 1668 N. Water St. It was sold by Phoenix, Ariz.-based Clear Channel Outdoor Inc., which operates billboards there.

Ogden plans to eventually combine that site with an adjacent property it owns, at 1659 N. Jackson St., for a highend apartment or condo project, said Jason Pietsch, a firm principal.

There’s no set schedule on when that development will occur, he said.

“It’s just a good piece of land to own,” Pietsch said.

Ogden bought the 1659 N. Jackson St. property, a small warehouse with a 12,000-square-foot lot, in August for $675,000, according to city assessment records.

The firm’s nearby developments include Keystone on Brady, a three-story, 23-unit apartment building that was completed in August at 1701 N. Humboldt Blvd.

Ogden also is developing Nine10 at Land Place, a five-story, 30-unit apartment building that will be open in November at 910 E. Land Place.
