Highlights: Journey back to the days of fighting knights, athletic competitio­ns of brute force and the pipes that define Scottish culture. Witness a full day of dancing, cricket, archery and ax throwing demonstrat­ions. Horses and sheepdogs will be on display and demonstrat­e their skill, while bands of pipers and dancers announce the start of the festival season. Admission: $10 adults; free for children age 12 and under; Active military in uniform are admitted free; $3 off before 10 a.m. with a per person donation of a non-perishable food item.
