A 16-year-old Glendale girl has been missing since July 1.

Teenasia Scobey-Polacheck ran away from home after her parents took her phone away out of concern that an older co-worker was communicating with her, according to family members.

Scobey-Polacheck left on a black and gray bicycle, wearing a gray tank top and black volleyball shorts.

She was last seen Monday, wearing black leggings, near North 15th and West Center streets in Milwaukee. A woman told police she spoke with her for nearly an hour. She contacted police after seeing a TV news report about the girl’s disappearance.

Scobey-Polacheck is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, 160 pounds, with a dark complexion and short black hair, according to the Glendale Police Department.

Anyone with any information about Scobey-Polacheck’s whereabouts should call Glendale police at (414) 2281753.
