La fête continues in East Town

Beignets, can-can dancers, wine, Robin Pluer — yep, Bastille Days is back. The all-things-French-flavored fest fills Cathedral Square Park and its environs with music, vendors, beverages and, oh yeah, the food — from crepes to Cajun, and from tarte flambée to crème brûlée. Because of the streetcar project, the geography’s a little different this year: The festival runs on East Kilbourn Avenue from Van Buren Street to Jefferson Street, around Cathedral Square Park, and along East Wells Street from Jackson to Milwaukee streets. The street festival’s hours are 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.
