Drink Brew City Week is actually 11 days of beer

- Kathy Flanigan

Milwaukee doesn’t slow down in the summer. That’s an unwritten rule that the city’s brewers take to heart for Drink Brew City Week, an 11-day series of events celebrating craft beer brewed here.

The week opens July 26 with a Drink Brew City Collaboration Pub Crawl in Riverwest.

The crawl takes you to Lakefront, Company, Bavarian Bierhaus, Gathering Place, Eagle Park and Good City to try collaboration brews from the breweries. Two shuttle buses run a loop among the breweries. It’s free. Live entertainment at most of the venues is also free.

Look to the Drink Brew City Week site on Facebook for updates on events.
