SISTER BAY - Enjoy watching the sunset over the bay? Got a spare $8.55 million? If so, you could buy one of Door County’s premiere resort sites, featuring a beach along the Green Bay side of Door County known for spectacular views.

Little Sister Resort and Fred & Fuzzy’s Waterfront Bar & Grill, along with 600 feet of beach, went on the market Thursday.

“Visitors know that this property is one of the most beautiful settings in Door County,” said Greg “Fuzzy” Sunstrom, one of the co-owners. “They are drawn to the breathtaking views and there’s no better place to watch the sun set in all of Wisconsin.”

The property is owned by the Sunstrom and Luber families and is being sold through NAI Pfefferle of Green Bay.

All of the property is available for subdivision or redevelopment into other uses, the news release said. The businesses will remain open during the sale process.

The 600 feet of beach property, known as Pebble Beach, is listed for $3.6 million, and the resort and restaurant are listed for $4.95 million. The combination of the three properties includes 1,000 feet of Door County shoreline. The Little Sister Resort also includes a pier and established woods of cedar trees.

“We have had an excellent run welcoming visitors for years, but it’s time to sell the property to the next generation of owners and for them to turn it into their dreams, said Martha Pelrine, a co-owner of the properties.

“There are so many possibilities for developers, investors and visionaries on this property,” said Tom Fisk, real estate adviser at NAI Pfefferle. “It’s an exciting time for Sister Bay as the area prepares for its next chapter.”

NAI Pfefferle also is the agent for the Alpine Resort & Golf Course, Egg Harbor, which was listed for sale at $15 million in April. The Alpine property includes 250 acres and a half-mile of frontage on Green Bay.

There are several qualified potential buyers for the Alpine property, said Tom Scheuerman, NAI Pfefferle broker.
