Festa Italiana

Date/place: July 20-22, Maier Festival Park Hours: 3-midnight Friday, 11:30 a.m.-midnight Saturday, 11:30 a.m.-11 p.m. next Sunday.

Highlights: Festa invites you to “Live Italian, Eat Italian, and Play Italian” with a weekend of authentic music, new restaurant­s offering seafood and Sendik’s Festa Italiana sausage. Enjoy Italian pop and opera, gondola rides, parades and bocce. Benvenuto! Admission: $10 in advance; $13 at the gate; free for children 12 and under with an adult admission.

Informatio­n: www.festa italiana.com Milwaukee Air & Water Show Date/place: July 21-22, located along Lincoln Memorial Drive, at McKinley Park, and between Bradford and McKinley Beach.

Hours: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and next Sunday

Highlights: The U.S. Air Force Thunderbir­ds are the headliner of the event, but new to the show this year are the U.S. Navy’s F/A-18 Super Hornet Tactical Demonstrat­ion Squadron, and the P-8 Poseidon Maritime Patrol Aircraft. Admission: Free event for the general public with many free areas along the Milwaukee lakefront, from North to South. The air show also has several levels of reserved seating packages, available for purchase which feature convenient access to parking, food and beverage concession­s, and private restrooms. Hours: 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday

Highlights: Twelve hours of fish fryin’ festivitie­s with multiple stages of musical entertainm­ent, an arts and crafts show, a carnival, and plenty of fish and chips.
