Irgens proposes two Mequon office buildings

- Tom Daykin

A pair of office buildings that would seek several different tenants are being proposed for a Mequon business park.

Irgens Partners LLC wants to develop the office buildings at East Mequon Corporate Center, according to new plans filed with the city Department of Community Development.

The business park is east of North Port Washington Road, between West Glen Oaks Lane and West Liebau Road. Its businesses include Charter Manufacturing Co. and Aurora Sports Medicine Institute.

The single-story buildings, each with just under 38,000 square feet, would be developed on around 9 acres at 12100 N. Corporate Parkway.

Irgens expects to develop the two buildings in two separate phases, according to information the firm filed with the city.

The buildings would be separated by a public plaza and would have an identical design.

Irgens said the buildings would be leased to multiple tenants. The firm doesn’t identify any prospective tenants for the buildings.

A company executive couldn’t be immediately reached Friday for more information about the project.

The Mequon Plan Commission is to review the proposal at its Monday night meeting.

Irgens is seeking building and site plan approval, as well as a certified survey map approval, so it can begin construction. Tom Daykin can be emailed at tdaykin@jrn.com and followed on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
