Moraine – Trey Wedig, jr., OT; Eli Weis, sr., RB; Blake Wilcox, sr., K-P; Caleb Hotchkiss, sr., DB; Mukwonago – Paul Vildberg, sr., DB; Dalton Gillette, sr., TE-DE; Muskego – Austin Burke, sr., OL; RJ Bosshart, sr., RB; Jacob Leszczynski, jr., OL; AJ Makinen, sr., QB; Nate Stewart, sr., DL; Oconomowoc – Leif Engstrand, sr., OL; Noah Zupke, jr., OL; Theo Ringgold, sr., DE; Waukesha North – Chimere Dike, jr., WR; Tyrone Howard, sr., RB; Rafa Martinez, sr., RB; Ben Sorge, sr., RB; Johnny Kelliher, jr., QB;

Waukesha South – Matt Garrity, sr., OL; Isaiah Garcia, sr., WR; Waukesha West – Sam Mikulak, sr., RB; Trent Remmers, sr., DB; Nick Hanke, sr., OL.

Outlook: This comes as no surprise, but some of the best football in the state will be played in the Classic 8 this year. The conference’s coaches are split between CMH and Muskego as the preseason favorite after Waukesha West went undefeated in conference play last year. There are plenty of Division I college recruits in the conference, including Kreul, Wilcox, Latham, Gillette and Engstrand. QB-DB; Adam Antonneu, sr., LB; Martin

Luther – Darios Crawley-Reid, sr., RBDB; Nik Mueller, sr., QB; Brad Kulinski, sr., WR-LB; Bryce Kulinski, sr., WR-LB; Brody Lee, sr., LB; Racine St. Catherine’s – Da’Shaun Brown, sr., QB-DB; Rashid Poole, sr., WR; Tim Carthron, sr., OL; Daryl Carter, sr., DE; Adrian Garcia, sr., DT; Luke Letsch, sr., DB; Shoreland

Lutheran – Noah Ahles, sr., QB-LB; Noah Erbe, jr., OL-LB; Donville James, jr., RB-DE.

Outlook: With the exception of a close six-point win over Martin Luther, St. Catherine’s stormed through the league last year and has the potential to do so again. The team has 15 seniors, its most since 2007, a super-standout in Brown and all-conference players returning at a number of positions. Circle Oct. 5 on your calendar. St. Catherine’s plays host to Martin Luther in a showdown that could determine the league title.
