A new Fall Harvest Festival in Wauwatosa’s Village area on Sept. 22 will conclude with dinner under the stars at a 100-seat table on State Street. Advance tickets are required for the dinner, which will be prepared by chef Thomas Hauck of the Lowlands Group, which operates Cafe Bavaria and Cafe Hollander in the village, chef de cuisine Sarah Edith Obear of Le Rêve Patisserie & Cafe, and chef Juan Urbieta of Ristorante Bartolotta.

The menu will incorporat­e fruits and vegetables from the Wauwatosa Farmers Market; courses include barley soup with kielbasa, shrimp risotto, pork rack, and apple brown-butter butterscot­ch. Beer and wine from Luxembourg will be poured; sparkling nonalcohol­ic cider from the market will be available. Tickets for the dinner, which will be from 6 to 8 p.m. in the 7600 block of West State, are $100 each and available at eventbrite.com.

The day starts as usual with the Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to noon in the parking lot at 7720 Harwood Ave. The Harvest Festival begins at noon on State Street and will include live music, children’s activities, artists, and food and drink vendors.
