Monday, Sept. 6: Swiss cheese burger with mushrooms on whole-wheat bun, baby bakers, stewed tomatoes, tropical fruit cup. At United Community Center: Meatloaf with gravy, baked potato, mixed vegetables, wheat bread, spring salad with dressing, fruit juice, cookie.

Tuesday: Pork chop suey with vegetables, fried rice, Japanese veggie blend, whole-grain dinner roll, pineapple chunks. At UCC: Steak ranchero, Mexican rice, green beans, multigrain bread, fruit juice, pineapple tidbits.

Wednesday: Barbecue chicken leg/thigh, creamed spinach, American potato salad, romaine salad with ranch dressing, cornbread muffin, mandarin oranges. At UCC: Sweet-and-sour pork with carrots and bell peppers, fried rice, Asian vegetables, wheat bread, fresh orange, cookie.

Thursday: Hungarian goulash, buttered egg noodles, honey-glazed carrots, pickled beets, whole-grain bread, fresh plum. At UCC: Oven-fried chicken, ovenbrowne­d potatoes, mixed vegetables, fresh salad with dressing, wheat bread, fresh apple.

Friday: Roast turkey with gravy, fresh sweet potato, broccoli, cranberry muffin, pumpkin pie. At UCC: Cheeseburg­er on whole-wheat bun, buttered asparagus, mac and cheese, Sun Chips, mixed fruit.

Saturday (UCC): Ground beef picadillo, brown rice, beans, vegetables, salad with dressing, whole-grain dinner roll, applesauce.

Sunday (UCC): Chicken lasagna, California vegetables, garlic bread, Caesar salad, fresh banana.
