SENIOR MEALS
Monday, Sept. 24: Salisbury steak with gravy, mashed sweet potatoes, baby peas, whole-grain bread, mandarin oranges. At United Community Center: Turkey meatballs with gravy, egg noodles, buttery brussels sprouts, fresh salad, wheat bread, diced pears and peaches.
Tuesday: Roast turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, dressing, sliced carrots, apple juice, pumpkin bar. At UCC: Steak and vegetables casserole, steamed parsley red potatoes, garden salad, wheat breadsticks, watermelon, cookie.
Wednesday: Grilled bratwurst on whole-wheat bun with German-style kraut, macaroni and cheese, marinated bean salad, apple crisp. At UCC: Grilled chicken Caesar salad, baked zucchini and carrots, grape juice, garlic breadsticks, baked cinnamon apples.
Thursday: Beef stew, mashed potatoes with cream cheese, rainbow coleslaw, garlic Texas toast, ranger cookie. At UCC: Bistec encebollado, brown rice, Puerto Rican beans, pineapple juice, fresh salad, banana.
Friday: Tuna noodle casserole with vegetables, broccoli, pickled beet salad, dinner roll, chocolate chip cookie. At UCC: Roast pork, Puerto Rican rice, steamed vegetables, fresh salad, wheat bread, fruit cocktail, birthday cake.
Saturday (UCC): Baked chicken, baked sweet potatoes, green beans, oranges, cornbread.
Sunday (UCC): Salisbury steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, fresh salad, wheat bread, pineapple tidbits.
