Quarterbac­k Maurice Wallace, subbing for injured starter Noland Dixon, connected with freshman Jerry Cross on a 14-yard touchdown with 31⁄2 minutes left that lifted Milwaukee King to a 20-14 victory over Milwaukee Marshall. For the second straight week, Aaron Eimers had a hand in a late touchdown that lifted Shorewood/Messmer to victory. Junior Allieas Williams scored two second-quarter TDs to help Racine Horlick race out to a 21-point halftime lead in a 32-20 victory at Racine Case. Junior Mitchell Schwartz ran 27 times for 103 yards for Kenosha Tremper, which snapped a 14-game Southeast Conference losing streak with a 31-14 victory over Racine Park on the road. Slinger junior Logan Homberg needed just 11 carries to gain 177 yards and score two touchdowns in a 37-18 victory over Port Washington to take sole possession of second place in the North Shore.

Nate Valcarcel’s 80-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter pulled Whitnall to within a point of South Milwaukee, but the Rockets stopped the two-point conversion to secure a 3635 victory at home.
