No. 6 Oklahoma 48, Oklahoma State 47: Kyler Murray passed for 349 yards and ran for 66 and host Oklahoma survived a late two-point conversion attempt to beat Oklahoma State. Taylor Cornelius connected with Tylan Wallace on a 24-yard touchdown pass to cut Oklahoma’s lead to one with 1:03 to play. Oklahoma State went for two, but Cornelius threw short and into coverage, and the pass fell incomplete. Oklahoma recovered the onside kick and ran out the clock. Kennedy Brooks ran for 165 yards and three touchdowns, Trey Sermon ran for 120 yards and two scores and Marquise Brown caught eight passes for 142 yards and a score for the Sooners (9-1, 6-1 Big 12, No. 6 CFP). Cornelius passed for a career-high 501 yards and three touchdowns for the Cowboys (5-5, 2-5).

No. 23 Iowa State 28, Baylor 14: Brock Purdy threw for a touchdown and ran for another score, and host Iowa State topped Baylor after a skirmish in the third quarter resulted in unsportsma­nlike conduct penalties for each player on both teams. Purdy threw for 230 yards as Iowa State (6-3, 5-2, No. 22 CFP) won a fifth straight Big 12 game in the same season for the first time. Deshaunte Jones caught a TD pass and threw for a 2-point conversion. Purdy’s 11-yard TD pass to Jones and his 2-yard touchdown run helped put Iowa State up 17-0 at halftime.

No. 7 West Virginia 47, TCU 10: Will Grier threw three touchdown passes and host West Virginia rolled to a victory. West Virginia (8-1, 6-1 Big 12, No. 9 CFP) had no trouble against the injury-riddled Horned Frogs (4-6, 2-5) as it pursues a possible berth in the conference championsh­ip game with two regularsea­son games left. The Mountainee­rs scored three touchdowns in a 3:25 span of the second quarter to break open a tie game.

Kansas State 21, Kansas 17: Alex Barnes ran for 117 yards and two touchdowns, Alex Delton scored the go-ahead TD from 21 yards out in the closing minutes and host Kansas State held on to beat Kansas for the Wildcats’ 10th straight win over their biggest rival.

No. 11 UCF 35, Navy 24: McKenzie Milton threw for two touchdowns and ran for a third, helping host UCF extend the nation’s longest winning streak to 22 games with a victory over Navy. Milton completed 17 of 21 passes without an intercepti­on, and the Knights (9-0, 6-0 American Athletic Conference) remained one of four unbeaten teams in the Football Bowl Subdivisio­n, along with Alabama, Clemson and Notre Dame. Dredrick Snelson scored on receptions of 34 and 12 yards for UCF, which stayed atop the AAC East Division standings and on course to be part of the discussion about which teams are worthy of berths in the College Football Playoff.

No. 14 Utah State 62, San Jose State 24: Jordan Love threw for a career-high 491 yards and five touchdowns on 32-of-42 passing in just three quarters, and host Utah State (9-1, 6-0 Mountain West) totaled 804 yards in offense in a win over San Jose State.

No. 25 Cincinnati 35, South Florida 23: Michael Warren II ran for three touchdowns and caught a pass for another score, leading host Cincinnati to a victory that kept the Bearcats in the chase for the American Athletic title.

The Bearcats (9-1, 5-1) remain a game behind unbeaten UCF for the AAC East lead. No. 11 UCF hosts Cincinnati next Saturday.
