Fireplace S’mores

Makes about 4 dozen sandwich cookies

3⁄4 cup granulated sugar

3⁄4 cup packed brown sugar

3⁄4 cup (1 1⁄2 sticks) butter, room temperatur­e

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 egg

2 1⁄2 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda ⁄2 teaspoon salt 1

1 package (12 ounces) mini chocolate chips

For decorating:

1 jar (about 7 ounces) marshmallo­w fluff

1 package (12 ounces) milk chocolate chips

1⁄2 cup finely crushed graham crackers

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, mix together sugars, butter, vanilla and egg. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add dry ingredient­s to butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.

Form dough into about 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake in preheated oven 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet.

Melt milk chocolate chips in microwave, starting with half. Stir until smooth.

Take one chocolate chip cookie and cover the flat bottom with marshmallo­w fluff. Sandwich with bottom of another cookie. Drizzle milk chocolate in thin lines over the top of sandwich cookie and sprinkle generously with crushed graham crackers.
