White Dress Off The Rack bridal boutique opening

A new bridal boutique in Walker’s Point is for the bride who isn’t going to spend a year or more planning a wedding.

Christina Alexander Wegner is opening a second bridal boutique, White Dress Off The Rack, at 196 S. Second St., early next month.

She started her company, The Whitedress LLC, and opened her flagship store, White Dress Bridal Boutique, in 2015.

Off The Rack will have the “Say Yes To The

Dress” experience like the TLC reality television show, but brides will leave with the dress that day, Wegner said. The 2,000-square-foot store has two fitting rooms. Wegner signed a three-year lease for the space.

The dresses in the new store are samples and other discontinued styles that accumulated over five years of running White Dress Bridal Boutique. She has around 300 dresses in stock. Wegner describes White Dress style as “timeless but fashionforward.”

Dresses will be discounted 30% to 50% at Off The Rack, with prices between $800 and $1,700. At White Dress Bridal Boutique, styles start at around $2,000, Wegner said.

Wenger decided to open the second store after a 60-day pop-up in the neighborhood. The two stores serve different clients, Wegner said. The Off The Rack store is for brides who want to spend less on a dress and who are on a restricted timeline.

White Dress Off The Rack will be open for appointments Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Appointments will be booked through White Dress Bridal Boutique.
