How Milwaukee is supporting those affected by the shooting in Miller Valley.
On Wednesday, tragedy struck Milwaukee when six people were killed, including a gunman, during a shooting on the Milwaukee campus of Molson Coors in the Miller Valley.
The Molson Coors brewery is one of the city’s oldest breweries and employs more than 1,000 people.
The shooting has affected many people in Milwaukee. These local businesses and individuals are offering support through donations, vigils and safe spaces.
Allison’s Cards for Cops
Six-year-old Allison and her mom are collecting cards to donate to employees of Molson Coors. Their Facebook page said cards can have notes of sympathy, encouragement, friendship, etc.
They will be collecting cards and cash donations from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday at Bell Ambulance Station 3, 1647 Vel R. Phillips Ave.
Keith Pulvermacher song
Milwaukee-area musician Keith Pulvermacher is donating 100% of the proceeds from his song “Keep the Faith” to the families of the victims in Wednesday’s shooting.
“I don’t even know what to say,” Pulvermacher said. “It’s how we can do something to try to make a difference.”

Kelly’s Bleachers bars
The family of Kelly’s Bleachers bars are donating 50 cents of every tap of Miller Lite sold at the various bars within the company. The proceeds will go to families of the victims.
“For nearly 40 years our family has grown up with the support of Miller Beer brands, and in an effort to support the family that helped make us who we are, we have chosen to support their family during this tragic time,” Kelly’s Bleachers II Facebook page said.

Beginning Thursday night through Sunday night, McBob’s is donating $1 of all Miller Coors products sold to the families of the victims of the shooting. Donations from the restaurant’s St. Patrick’s Day breakfast will also be given to the families of the victims.
Saz’s State House, 5539 W. State St.
Saz’s, just blocks from the Molson Coors campus, will donate 100% of MillerCoors profits to a fundraiser for families of the victims. Proceeds from the restaurant’s Saz’s Sampler Combination will be donated as well.
The fundraiser will run Thursday through March 5.
Sip & Purr Cat Cafe, 2021 E. Ivanhoe Place
Milwaukee’s east side cat cafe is inviting employees of Molson Coors to enjoy the comfort of their cats now through March 4.
“Show up, show us your work ID, and enjoy the comfort of our cats,” the cafe’s Facebook page said.
Nero, a cat inside the cafe, is a certified therapy house cat that is available for snuggles and head scratches.
Wisconsin Harley-Davidson, 1280 Blue Ribbon Drive, Oconomowoc
This Harley-Davidson dealership is throwing a St. Patrick’s Day party and will donate $1 of every green Miller Lite sold to a fund for families of the victims.
“Milwaukee is a close-knit community, and when one of us hurts, we all hurt. Today we all hurt,” Wisconsin HarleyDavidson’s Facebook page said.
