Summerfest shows
Steve Miller and Styx will perform concerts at the BMO Harris Pavilion.
Summerfest has revealed the first two shows for the BMO Harris Pavilion during this year’s Big Gig: Milwaukeeborn Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Steve Miller, with guest Marty Stuart, on June 26; and classic rockers Styx on July 1.
But the bigger news may be that the pricing is changing for headlining shows at the 5,000-seat venue during the festival.
Last year during the festival, a limited number of reserved seats were available for $30 for BMO Harris Pavilion headliners. Those tickets included Summerfest general admission.
This year, all the seats in sections 1 through 5 in the venue’s lower bowl will be reserved seating for headlining shows. And ticket prices for reserved seats for those shows will vary, while still including Summerfest general admission.
Summerfest general-admission ticket-holders will still be able to see BMO Harris Pavilion shows from the bleachers and standing section in the back, all available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tickets for Miller with Stuart are available beginning at 10 a.m. March 11 at the Maier Festival Park south gate box office and at ticketmaster.com.
Styx tickets go on sale at noon March 11. Prices for reserved seats have yet to be announced for the shows.

Wednesday that the festival will continue to make separate announcements for BMO Harris Pavilion shows throughout the spring. In recent years, the festival unveiled its headliner lineup for the stage all at once.
So far, Summerfest has announced nine shows for the festival’s main stage, the American Family Insurance Amphitheater, which is reopening in June following a $53 million upgrade.
They are: Justin Bieber with Kehlani and Jaden Smith opening night (June 24); Luke Bryan with Morgan Wallen (June 25); Sam Hunt with Kip Moore, Travis Denning, Ernest and Brandi Cyrus (June 26); Khalid with Jessie Reyez (June 27); Blink-182 with Coheed and Cambria, The Used and Grandson (June 28); Chris Stapleton with Sheryl Crow (June 30); Dave Matthews Band (July 2); Halsey with Chvrches and Omar Apollo (July 3); and Guns N’ Roses (July 4).
