Rebel Converting LLC moving into Milwaukee

A company that makes sanitizing wipes, a product with spiking demand because of the coronavirus epidemic, is moving to a larger facility in Milwaukee.

Rebel Converting LLC has purchased a manufacturing facility in the Towne Corporate Park of Granville business park and is remodeling the building into its new headquarters.

That’s according to a statement from Cushman & Wakefield | Boerke, the brokerage firm that represented Rebel Converting in its purchase of the building at 11225 W. Heather Ave.

Rebel employs approximately 50 people and is currently located at 700 N. Progress Drive, Saukville. It plans to occupy the new Milwaukee location as soon as possible.

The move will nearly double Rebel’s space, allowing the company to expand into 95,500 square feet.

The company bought the building from a commercial real estate investment firm, Brennan Investment Group, for $4.77 million. Brennan was represented by Brett Garceau and Steve Sewart of Colliers International.

The expansion is coming during a huge increase in demand for sanitizing wipes.

However, Rebel began looking for a larger building well before the coronavirus was dominating the news, according to the announcement.

Mike Kryshak, Rebel’s owner, attributed the company’s growth to his employees.

“We’ve got a great team, and Rebel operates with the philosophy that companies are all about the people.” Kryshak said in a statement.

Terry McMahon and Cody Ziegler, from Cushman & Wakefield | Boerke, were the brokers on the sale.

“There were a few different groups looking at the facility, which is a testament that demand for industrial real estate continues to stay strong in southeast Wisconsin,” McMahon said.

McMahon and Ziegler are also planning to list Rebel’s building in Saukville for sale.
