h “The Surrogate”: A web designer agrees to be egg donor and surrogate for her best friend and his husband, but the results of a prenatal test bring different responses from each of them. Writer-director Jeremy Hersh’s drama got rave reviews despite losing its debut at the canceled South by Southwest film festival. Available starting Tuesday.

h “Robin’s Wish”: The last days in the life of Robin Williams, who was fighting the neurodegen­erative disorder Lewy Body Dementia at the time of his death by suicide at age 63 in 2014, is told in this new documentar­y made in cooperatio­n with Williams’ widow, Susan Schneider. Available starting Tuesday.

Sofa Cinema

Milwaukee Film’s online movie portal Sofa Cinema gives you a window through which you can rent new and recent independen­t movies, the movies that the nonprofit outfit would have been showing at the Oriental Theatre if the theater had been shut down thanks to the impact of the coronaviru­s pandemic. h “Nomad: In the Footsteps of Bruce Chatwin”: In this new, acclaimed documentar­y, the always entertaini­ng Werner Herzog focuses his lens on the late travel writer Bruce Chatwin, a fellow free spirit and global wanderer who had been the filmmaker’s close friend for years.

New movies on streaming

“All Together Now”: A girl with a chance at a dream music scholarshi­p tries to hide a secret that could get in the way — she and her familiy are homeless. Auli’i Cravalho (who voiced “Moana” in the Disney animated movie), Rhenzy Feliz, Judy Reyes, Fred Armisen and Carol Burnett star in this new drama by writer-director Brett Haley (“Hearts Beat Loud,” “The Hero”). Premiering Friday on Netflix.

“Get Duked!”: If you’re looking for something completely different, check out this British black comedy, a satire about some teenage stoners on a camping competitio­n in the Scottish Highlands who discover they’re being hunted. Infused with a hip-hop energy and a solidly anarchic spirit, “Get Duked!” is the directoria­l debut of music video director Ninian Doff. The great Eddie Izzard co-stars. It debuts Friday on Amazon Prime.

“Love, Guaranteed”: A lawyer agrees to represent a client who is suing a dating website that guarantees love. Rachael Leigh Cook and Damon Wayans Jr. star in this comedy. Debuting on Netflix starting Thursday.
