The number of new COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin continues to decline after hitting a peak seven-day average of 6,563 cases per day in mid-November. New cases reported Sunday: 2,757 New deaths reported: 15

Number hospitaliz­ed (as of Saturday): 1,384 (intensive care: 322); down 693 patients from one month ago

Seven-day average of daily cases: 3,513 (down 2,929 cases from one month ago)

Seven-day average of daily deaths: 48 (up three from one month ago)

The average positivity rate — firsttime positive tests over the last seven days — was 27.8% Saturday.

Total cases since the start of pandemic: 436,773 (45,987 active cases)

Total deaths: 4,056

As of Sunday, the seven-day average was at 3,513 cases per day, the lowest it has been since Oct. 23, when the sevenday average was 3,470.
