Jazz at TRAIL BLAZERS, late : The Portland Trail Blazers host the Utah Jazz for the season opener. Portland went 5-8 in Northwest Division play and 21-15 at home during the 2019-20 season.

Mavericks at SUNS, late : The Suns host the Mavericks for the season opener. Phoenix went 34-39 overall and 17-22 at home in the 2019-20 season.

Thunder at ROCKETS, ppd. : Houston’s opener against Oklahoma City on Wednesday was postponed after coronaviru­s cases and James Harden’s violation of the NBA’s COVID-19 protocols.
