MILWAUKEE - Gloria Ann Malone made her transition on November 26, 2020. She was 84 years old and lived most of her life in Milwaukee. She was predecease­d by her husband, Thomas D. Malone, who died on July 19. 2017. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Gloria was born on November 30,1935 in Memphis, Tennessee to Fannie and Jack Wilson Sr. She grew up as the only girl amongst 4 brothers, Milton, James, Charles and Jack Wilson Jr. She was the only surviving member of that family at the time of her death.

After the family migrated to Milwaukee, Gloria blossomed as a student at Lincoln High School. As a teen, in addition to her studies, she socialized with her friends who called themselves, ‘the Lords and Ladies’. It was during this time she met her future husband, Thomas Malone, They were married on Sept. 4, 1954 and together,helped start Malone’s Realty, a business that was the center of the urban Milwaukee community for many decades.

It was her faith that helped her survive the ups and downs of life. She made the most of her life and she never stopped caring for her family including her husband until his death. She will never be forgotten and will live on in the lives of her children, Thomas Jr (Deborah), Calvin (Mary), Sandra, Kathryn, Terrance (Connie), and Jack, along with a host of grandchild­ren, great grandchild­ren and friends. The funeral was held at Northwest Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, December 16. Internment followed at Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI 53215.
