State reports 1,832 new cases, 2 more deaths
State health officials reported more than 1,800 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and two more deaths Sunday.
The average number of cases reported weekly hasn't reached the state's peak recorded in mid-November but is on the rise from 1,882 on Dec. 26, according to the state Department of Health Services.

More than 373,000 people died in the U.S. from COVID-19 and over 22.2 million people in the country have tested positive, according to Johns Hopkins University. The deaths come after the country reported more than 4,000 people who died in a single day Thursday.
