Online orders available immediately after game

GREEN BAY – It will take only a matter of hours for NFC champions gear to hit Wisconsin store shelves Sunday night if the Green Bay Packers win Sunday.

Fans attending Sunday’s game between the Packers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be able to buy championship items immediately after the game at the Packers Pro Shop in Lambeau Field. The store will have three NFC championship items in stock – women’s T-shirts, men’s T-shirts and hats, said Peggy Prebelski, the Packers director of retail operations.

The store will be open to game attendees only, but the items also will be available on the Packers Pro Shop website. On Monday, the store will add a long sleeve T-shirt and a youth Tshirt.

Those five items will be followed by another 135 NFC champions-branded items that will arrive over the twoweek run-up to the Super Bowl, Prebelski said. All those items will be immediately listed on the Pro Shop’s website.

“They won’t be immediately in stock, but our website will show those items available. We’ll be putting those up Sunday night,” Prebelski said. “It’s another way for fans to look at what we’ll have.”

You won’t have to be one of the 6,500 season ticket holders who will attend Sunday’s game if you want to get your swag on Sunday.

Dick’s Sporting Goods’ 14 Wisconsin area stores will reopen after Sunday’s game to offer fans an assortment of Packers NFC champions gear, and the stores will open early on Monday, as well. The retailer also will have those items for sale on its website Sunday evening.

Dick’s stores that will reopen Sunday and be open early Monday are located in Ashwaubenon, Appleton, Oshkosh, Wausau, Brookfield, Grafton, Greendale, Wauwatosa, Kenosha, Madison, Janesville, La Crosse and Woodbury, Minnesota.

The company is encouraging fans to use the stores’ contactless curbside pickup option when placing their order. In-store and curbside pickup orders will be available as soon as one hour after the game ends.

Dunham’s Sports expects NFC championship products to arrive at its 22 Wisconsin and Upper Peninsula of Michigan stores on Tuesday and Wednesday, Vice President of Marketing & Advertising David Palmer said.

Palmer said products will arrive throughout Tuesday at its stores in Stevens Point, Brookfield, Franklin, New Berlin, West Allis, Racine, Rice Lake and Menomonie.

Products will arrive throughout Wednesday at other Dunham’s stores, including Ashwaubenon, Beaver Dam, Marinette, Marshfield, Rhinelander, Shawano, Sheboygan, Sturgeon Bay, Wausau and Escanaba, Michigan.

Other Packers gear retailers have decided to wait for the availability of Super Bowl-branded swag before they stock up.

Jack Hill, owner of Packer Gear and Cheese in Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport, said he hasn’t had enough sales this season, as the coronavirus pandemic gutted air travel, to justify stocking championship-themed items. He said a small shop like his would not be able to make a profit on hose items after factoring in express shipping costs.

“I probably will bring in some hats, but as far as shirts and hoodies and that other stuff, I’ve not had success with it,” Hill said. “We’re just hoping they’re going to win the Super Bowl. We’ll have Super Bowl stuff. I’ve got orders in already.”
