LAS VEGAS, NV - Leila Joyce Goblirsch (nee Kissel) of Las Vegas, NV passed away peacefully December 30, 2020. Leila (“Lee”) was born June 3, 1935 in Genoa, IL to Charles and Mildred Kissel (nee Montgomery). She married Dr. Dean Goblirsch on December 29, 1956 in Loves Park, IL. She was reunited with her beloved late husband one day after their 64th wedding anniversar­y. In addition to her husband Dean, Leila was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaugh­ter Jennifer Claire Goblirsch. Leila is survived by her four loving children David (Donna) of Hanover Park, IL, Cynthia Cooper (Christophe­r) of Tucson, AZ, Dean II (Claire) of Brookfield, WI, and Constance Haley (Douglas) of Delafield, WI. She is also survived by five grandchild­ren, Jessica, Robert, Victoria, Deanna and Katherine, and four great-grandchild­ren, Madisyn, Hannah, Charlotte and Gavin. Leila earned a Bachelor Degree in History and became a schoolteac­her and then a part-time substitute teacher after starting her family. She was an excellent bowler as well as an experience­d curler with the Wauwatosa Curling Club for many years. She loved reading, crossword puzzles and occasional girl-friend get-togethers. No service is scheduled. Leila was cremated and will be interred at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, WI next to her husband and granddaugh­ter. She was the best Mom ever and lots of fun and will be forever missed. Memorials may be sent to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 315 S. Casino Center Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89101.
