Food Network Magazine honors County Clare
The County Clare Irish Inn & Pub at 1234 N. Astor St. in Milwaukee earned a spot on Food Network Magazine's list of most-impressive Irish bars from around the country for having the “Most Inventive Potato Dish.”
Colcannon is a traditional Irish mixture of creamy mashed potatoes with greens, kale or cabbage, and County Clare turned the mashed potato dish into deep-fried poppers of potatoes whipped with Irish cheddar, cabbage and onions, rolled in panko, and then served with gravy. And no need to wait for St. Patrick's Day, Colcannon Poppers are available on the daily menu. Visit
