- Bill Glauber

A public visitation has been scheduled for Thursday for one of the victims in the shooting at the Roundy’s warehouse in Oconomowoc.

Visitation for Kevin Kloth, 51, of Germantown, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at Schmidt & Bartelt funeral home, N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave., in Menomonee Falls, according to his obituary.

Kloth and Kevin Schneider, 39, of Milwaukee, were shot and killed by a coworker, Fraron Cornelius, 41, of Wauwatosa, at the Roundy’s Distribution Center warehouse late in the evening of March 16.

Early the next day, Cornelius died by suicide after a police chase ended in a crash. All three worked at the facility for at least 20 years.

Kloth was born in Oconomowoc and graduated from Germantown High School and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, according to his obituary.

He worked in management for Walgreens, Aldi grocery stores and Batteries Plus before joining the Roundy’s Distribution Center in the summer of 2000, working first at a location in Wauwatosa before moving to the Oconomowoc site.

Kloth is survived by his parents, Dennis and Nancy, his sister, Stacey Birchbauer, and extended family.

According to the obituary, “Kevin loved watching/analyzing/talking high school, college and professional sports. He had a love for many but his favorites were definitely football, basketball and baseball.

“Kevin and his dad would spend endless hours discussing games and players and as Kevin’s nephews became older, it would be very common for them to join in on these chats as well. Family was so important to Kevin.”

A public visitation for Schneider will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, 4600 County Line Road, in Mount Pleasant.
