SENIOR MEALS

Milwaukee County’s senior meal sites are serving only curbside pickup. There is no charge, but a contributi­on for the lunch is suggested. Also, reservatio­ns are required 24 hours in advance at the site of pickup. Sites and numbers can be found at the Milwaukee County Department on Aging website, milwaukee.gov/county/aging. Monday, April 5: Chicken salad, sevengrain bread, marinated vegetables, cottage cheese, mandarin oranges, Rice Krispie treat. At United Community Center: Sloppy Joes on whole wheat bun, macaroni and cheese, three-bean salad, diced pears.

Tuesday: Sub sandwich, creamy coleslaw, chips, cranberry juice, apple. At UCC: Boneless pork loin, Puerto Rican rice, mixed greens with dressing, whole grain dinner roll, applesauce.

Wednesday: Seven-layer salad, fruit punch, cornbread, strawberry yogurt. At UCC: Turkey, ham and cheese on Kaiser roll, peas and carrots, pineapple tidbits, Lorna Doone cookie.

Thursday: Chopped chicken, fajita salad, tortilla chips, baby carrots, juice, chilled pear slices. At UCC: Beef and cheese, soft tacos, whole wheat tortilla, Mexican rice and beans, mandarin oranges.

Friday: Tuna salad, marble rye bread, broccoli slaw, pickled beets, pretzels, fresh fruit cup. At UCC: Barbecue baked chicken, scalloped potatoes, broccoli cuts, dinner roll, banana.
