7-day average of new cases now up to 1K
The seven-day average of new COVID-19 cases increased for the 30th consecutive day Thursday to 1,000 cases a day, according to state Department of Health Services data.
The average of daily cases is up 926 cases from one month ago and at the highest mark since February 7.
Hospitalizations increased to 388 patients, up 309 from a month ago.
