FLOWER MOUND, TX - Kathryn Marie Walsh, nee Brophy, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2021 in Flower Mound, Texas with her daughter by her side. She was 82 years old. Kathryn was born to the late Joseph and Isabelle Brophy on November 29, 1938 in Milwaukee where she lived her entire life except for a recent relocation to Flower Mound, Texas to be near her daughter and grandson. In Milwaukee, she attended St. Catherine’s Catholic Elementary School and Pius XI High School. Kathryn was an active member in her bible study and helped others through various service organizati­ons, including supporting the local humane society and volunteeri­ng her support at polling booths during several state and local elections. She worked for the Milwaukee County Sheriff ’s Department for more than 20 years. Kathryn is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Brophy, her beloved grandson, Andrew Anthony Chiesa, and her cherished son, Patrick Kevin Walsh. She is survived by her loving daughter Mary Beth Walsh Chiesa and her beloved grandson, Samuel Peter Chiesa, both of Flower Mound, TX; brother Joseph (Marilyn) Brophy of Milwaukee, WI; sister-in-law Beth Brophy of Ill and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Kathryn was a loyal and good friend to many. She had a wonderful sense of humor and found ways to laugh everyday even when she was in discomfort. She loved spending time with friends, sharing stories, smiles and laughter. Kathryn especially enjoyed her annual family reunion in Shawano, WI. She had a special relationsh­ip with her grandson Sam. They both shared the same sense of humor and were pals. Their laughter was a joy to listen to. Sam will forever remember the special bond he had with his grandma Kathy. Kathryn was a proud Christian woman and enjoyed reading her bible. She was fierce in her beliefs and wasn’t afraid to speak them. She lived an honorable life and never lost her faith, even when it was being tested. The joys in her life were her son and daughter and two grandsons. She left an incredible mark on all who loved her. Visitation will be Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 1-3pm with a service to follow at 3 pm at Max and Sass Funeral Home, 8910 W. Drexel Avenue, Franklin, WI 53132.
