“Delicate State”: A couple (Paula Rhodes, Charlie Bodin) set out to chronicle their pregnancy, at first oblivious to the chaos the world is sinking into, including nationwide protests, uprisings and lockdowns. Believe it or not, this dark comedy, in which the stars are also the crew, was filmed in 2015. Available Jan. 4.

“American Gadfly”: This documentar­y charts the quixotic, youthpower­ed 2020 presidenti­al campaign of 89-year-old former Alaskan senator Mike Gravel, who ran to bring attention to progressiv­e causes he’d been touting his whole life. Available Jan. 4.
