PICKING THE WINNERS

The Packers face yet another team fighting for its postseason life and this time it's a team that has already beaten them. The Vikings may play indoors, but their running game allows them to handle cold and snow with the best of them. The Packers need an allaround good performance in their regular-season home finale.

The Packers have been hit hard by COVID-19 this week but still have their best players. Dalvin Cook will test their shaky run defense, and Justin Jefferson is as good as any receiver in the league. But losing Adam Thielen (ankle surgery) was a big blow, so the guess here is the Packers put up enough points to keep them the NFC's top seed heading into the final week.

The Packers are so close to clinching the NFC's top seed, they won't let a stumble at home stop them now. This game will be competitive but expect a different result than the Packers' trip to Minnesota in late November. Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams will make the plays at the end to keep propelling the Packers toward home-field advantage and the firstround bye.

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer has disguises that bait Aaron Rodgers and the Packers quarterback can't get by with the slow starts that have punctuated his past few games. Having Marquez Valdes-Scantling back in the receiving corps is a huge step in the right direction. Along with Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon, the Packers should have all of their offensive weapons available.
