MADISON - Amanda Analla, age 35, of Madison, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at UW Hospital. She was born on July 3, 1986, in Milwaukee WI, the daughter of Faye and Michael Analla. She married Erica Lee on November 5, 2011, in Madison.

Amanda was a proud member of the Madison Police Department serving first as a Police Officer and then Detective. She had a strong community presence and cared deeply for the citizens she served. When not at work, she loved being with her family and friends. She was often considered the life of the party, always welcoming people in and no one ever left being a stranger.

She loved gardening, biking, swimming, and sports of any kind! She was so proud of her daughters and wanted nothing but the best for them. She fought a hard battle to try to get home to them. Amanda passed away from Non-Hodgkins T-cell lymphoma and HLH, a rare autoimmune disease.

She is survived by her wife, Erica and their two young daughters; her mother, Faye; her sisters Amy and Liz; her grandmothe­rs, Mary Mallien and Audrey Analla and her beloved dog Piper. She will be loved, missed, and remembered by many family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Analla and her grandfathe­rs, Chuck Hively, Art Analla, and Jim Mallien.

A celebratio­n of Amanda’s life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at the Cress Center, 6021 University Avenue, Madison. A visitation will be held on Wednesday (5/25) evening from 3 until 7 pm and on Thursday from 9:30 am until 11:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, Amanda had set up a memorial fund for her daughters. Donations can be made to @Erica-Analla through Venmo.
