Peacefully entered into Eternal Life on May 16, 2022, at the age of 56. Beloved son of Michael and the late Elizabeth “Elma” (nee Lenihan) O’Keeffe. Loving brother of Marian (Michael) Doyle, Eamonn (Rebecca Jones) O’Keeffe, and Michael (Kim) O’Keeffe. Proud (and favorite) uncle of Joseph, Liam, Rose, Sara (Matt), Abigail, Ian, and grand-nephew Noah. Godfather to Liam. Further survived by an aunt and uncle, cousins, and many, many friends.

Jim was a gentle and loving soul who had many creative talents. He was a singer, songwriter, and poet. He enjoyed photography and travel. He loved Ireland and Irish culture and traditions, especially Irish music and dance. Jim managed the Aer Lingus Stage at Milwaukee’s Irish Fest for over 35 years and met many talented and interesting musicians over that time. He was a founding member of The Minstrel Druids, an Irish music group. He loved the arts and attended theatrical productions and music concerts whenever he was able. Jim was a humble, caring, and faith-filled person who always managed to stay positive, facing his many physical challenges with grace and determination. He will be missed by his family and many friends from all over the world.

Jim’s family would like to thank the hospice and palliative care teams at Froedtert Hospital for their excellent care and compassion during his final days.
