DELAFIELD - Bonnie L. Menzel of Delafield passed peacefully on May 13, 2022 surrounded by love. Dearly loved wife of the late Paul Menzel for 53 years, cherished and devoted mother of Elizabeth Consiglio and Melissa (Christophe­r) Grow; loving and proud grandma of Alexander Grow, Madeline and Matthew Consiglio. Sister of Merry (late Robert) Scheer. Preceded in death by her sisters-in-law Charlotte (late Roy) Roggenbach, and Marilyn (late Robert) Wellsfry. She was loved by a host of other relatives and friends, the camping group, and by her church family.

If it was dreamt, Bonnie made sure it got done. From artist to architect, entreprene­ur to business advisor, troop leader to Disney trip planner, Bonnie was behind it all. She was always present, never missing a sporting event, activity, or performanc­e. Family was the most important thing to Bonnie and as the steadfast family leader she dedicated her life to loving her husband, raising her children and cherishing her grandchild­ren. Her love was unconditio­nal and generous beyond measure.

Bonnie was a lifelong Christian Scientist and an active member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Brookfield. She was a dedicated and grateful supporter of her church where she served at different times as a lay reader, Sunday School teacher, Reading Room Librarian, Clerk, and member and chair of the Board of Trustees. She later entered the public practice as a Journal listed Christian Science practition­er where she provided prayerful support and love to her patients.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM. The service will follow at 4:00 PM.

Memorials may be given to First Church of Christ, Scientist, Brookfield.
